ACLS HeartCode Blended Module w/ In-Person Skills Session - AHA

Each student will receive an ACLS Certification Card from the American Heart Association (valid for a full 2-year period).

Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) Online Renewal Certification is a three part process.  Completion of the full course includes Part 1 online, plus an in-person skills practice and testing session (Parts 2 and 3) with a GatorCPR AHA Instructor. 

Course Content:

  • Key changes in advanced cardiovascular life support, reflecting the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
  • Ten adult patient cases with up to four healthcare providers, presented through eSimulation technology:
    • One BLS case
    • Seven cases representing cardiovascular, respiratory and stroke emergencies
    • Two Megacodes
  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Recognition and early management of periarrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke
  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

 

Course Fee: $259 (includes online module and private skills session)

Course Length: 4 - 6 hrs online module; 1 hour classroom

 

Course Requirements: You must hold a current BLS certification.  

Step 1: Complete your registration.  

Step 2: Take Online Modules.  Follow instructions in confirmation email (check your spam folder).  

Step 3: Print your online certification of completion. Print and bring this certificate with you or email your certificate to cpr@gatorcpr.com.

Step 4: Attend your skills demonstration and skill test.  With your online course complete and completion certificate in hand, attend your scheduled course with one of our AHA instructor.

 

NEED YOUR BLS?
BLS RENEWAL OPTION - Have a Current (non-expired) BLS Certification and want to renew your BLS? You can renew your BLS Certification at the same time as your ACLS class. This option is only for those that have a current (non-expired) BLS certification from American Heart Association. Just be prepared to stay another 30 minutes after your ACLS course. You will walk away with your ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association.

BLS HEARTCODE BLENDED OPTION - BLS First Timer? Certification Expired? You can get your BLS certification on the same day. This option is only for those that do not have a current BLS certification, either it is your first time taking BLS or your BLS certification has expired. You will be issued a BLS Heartcode online module course key. You will need to complete this module before your ACLS class and bring your certification of completion with you on the day of your ACLS training. You will walk away with your ACLS and BLS certification from American Heart Association.
